I signed up for blogger.com just to post a comment on someone else's blog. But now that I think about it, perhaps I will, on occasion, have some wisdom to impart to the masses. At the very least, I could probably provide some humor to help lighten your load on at least a weekly basis. Perhaps I'll even share some of my poetry/lyrics once in a while. Stay tuned......

I'll check in from time to time. You make me fill guilty. I filled out the bio when posting for steve like you. Of course I feel like we can all learn from our lifes experiences when we talk about ourselves; but may God indeed bless you for your humility.

I guess I figured my bio wouldn't be very interesting, and I am kind of shy about sharing personal information online at times, anyway; plus, I was in a hurry when I registered. I don't know--maybe putting "It's not about me, it's all about Him" in the the "about me" field (in reference to the song, "Not About Us") was just a cute cop-out for me.
Nevertheless, in Steve's "Rules of Engagement" post, he stated: "If you don't have a profile filled out and a real name behind the 'blogname' with bio completed, you will not be allowed to post in the future and all current posts with 'your name' attached will be deleted." Since I am one of the only ones commenting on his blog who didn't fill out the "about me" section, i.e. "bio completed," I guess I'll do that today so that I don't get banned from posting comments.
Also, I'll be making my first official post to "My Button-Down Mind" later this evening or tomorrow morning.

Wow, I noticed in your bio that you are an adoptee. My wife and I adopted a little girl through foster care last year - it has been such a blessing. I would love to hear more about the book that you are contemplating, working on. Thanks.
